This month’s review is a quick one, but I always enjoy touching base with you all. First off, some exciting news:

2024 Pushcart Nominees

Soft Star Magazine is nominating six short stories for next year’s Pushcart Prize! Each year, the Pushcart Prize publishes a “Best of Small Presses” anthology comprised of short fiction, essays, and poetry from literary magazines and indie book presses around the world. Each publisher is able to nominate up to six works per year, and these are the works I’ve chosen from among all pieces published by Soft Star in the past year:
